Order Requirements

Thank you for your interest in my services!

This post serves to acquaint you with the type of services I provide so that you can easily check whether I’m the right designer for your job and on the other hand, if you meet all necessary requirements to be my client.
I’m a designer for making assembly/installation instructions for different types of products. I’m a technical illustrator and I work only with CAD files. I’m not an art illustrator and drawing images based on your photos or videos is not my way of working. Depending on the type of your product(s), you would need to meet the following requirements and provide me with appropriate files and information.

1. Product files

1.1 3D model for products:

- that have a complex shape,
- which have many parts,
- industrial type (transport, construction, energy, electronics, music, ...)

Note: 3D models must be made in NURBS CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Rhino 3D, Inventor, Fusion 360, ...) and exported in .STEP format with assembled model, not in polygon based software (3Ds Max, Maya, Blender, SketchUp, ...).

See examples of these products in the photos below:

1.2 2D CAD drawings for products:

- which do not have a complex shape,
- which do not have many parts

See examples of these products in the photos below:

1.3 Photos with dimensions:

- for simple products only.

See examples of these products in the photos below.

2. Explanation of the assembly/installation process

To draw your assembly/installation instructions, I need to be familiar with the assembly/installation process. Send me a list with all the necessary assembly/installation steps and the necessary details that needs to show in the images. Also, if you need to use certain hardware and tools to assemble/install your product, you need to send me their specifications.

Please note that I‘m not always familiar with the names of all parts of your product so I need one image of your product with marked parts.

See below an example of an explanation of the assembly process.
